Baby Anicette.

Baby Anicette is well known around Mercy Ships, she has been waiting 5 months to have a cleft lip repair. Anicette first came to Mercy Ships at the beginning of July and was admitted into the feeding program for malnutrition, in hopes that Anicette would gain enough weight for the surgery. Her mom and her have either lived in the hospital or the hospitality center during this time. Anicette's mama has learned to feed her baby, watch her gain weight and last week finally watched her sweet baby get the surgery she deserved. I first met Anicette back in August when my friend Kelly started working with them to increase her weight and to get the right formula she needed. I have visited Anicette and her mama many times at the Hospitality center.

She is beautiful and we are all so happy she received her surgery!
