Happy Birthday Doug!!
Our day started with breakfast and then a climb to the top of Camelback Mountain.
Doug wanted a carrot cake... so I made a completely homemade one.
It only took me 45 minutes to grate the carrots, but turned out delcious.
The finished product... carrot cake with almond butter cream frosting.
We ended the day with a picnic dinner at Tempe Townlake and a trip to the bookstore for some magazine reading. A perfect day my with love.
