Our friends from California (and South Africa) came to Phoenix for a few days to camp at Lost Dutchman Park, 45 minutes east of Phoenix by the Superstition Mountains. Doug was on cloud 9 when they invited him to camp with them. He spent 2 nights in a tent and it just happen to be the 2 coldest nights (below freezing) Phoenix has had in 20 years. Doug found ice in his water bottle one morning, but enjoyed the company. I was able to go visit one night after work for a hike and dinner. I sure didn't mind leaving to sleep in my warm bed :)
For some reason this blog's title reminded me of a Curious George book. Ha. Miss you SO MUCH, friend!!
